The AudioQuest Greyhound Subwoofer RCA Audio Cable is ideal for connecting the LFE output of a home theater amplifier or the pre-out output of a HiFi amplifier to the RCA input of a subwoofer. This AudioQuest Greyhound cable features many patented technologies to provide excellent performance. AudioQuest Greyhound: 0.5% Silver Plated OFC Copper Conductor The conductors of this cable are made of pure copper alloy and silver, which eliminates distortion and thus reduces the jitter effect. In addition, the silver plated conductors promote the transmission of low frequencies to achieve a very clean and deep bass. Insulation PE jacket The Greyhound cable consists of an air-insulated polyethylene jacket on both conductors. Polyethylene is a material with interesting properties as it reduces distortion without affecting it. AudioQuest Greyhound: Noise Dissipation System (NDS) Noise Dissipation System to prevent radio waves from blurring the signal passing through the cable, the Noise Dissipation System (NDS) prevents a significant amount of radio interference. This patented technology uses overlapping carbon and metal layers to ensure shielding and thus maintain the signal. HYPERLITZ COAX Geometry The AudioQuest Greyhound cable consists of eight spiral wound negative conductors and form a perfect circle around a unique positive conductor. This creates a cable with a large cross section with low resistance. This makes the signal easier to pass through.
